DCM and its related companies have over 250 teammates.

Maxwell Drever   Maxwell Bruce Drever
Drever Capital Management, LLC, Chairman
DGD Capital Management, LLC, Principal
Crossbeam Holdings, LLC, Managing Partner
spacer

Mr. Drever is at the helm of Drever Capital Management, has been a visionary leader in contrarian impact real estate investing for over 40 years. His passion for redeveloping distressed workforce multifamily properties in a socially and environmentally conscious manner has often provided the catalyst for transforming entire neighborhoods. He is also a principal of DGD Capital Management, a venture focused on multifamily, senior housing, and hospitality development and redevelopment.

Mr. Drever has always been appreciative of the friends who backed him in his first real estate venture to buy and redevelop a tired triplex on the Sausalito waterfront (quadrupling their money). Today, the children of these legacy family investors as well as new friends and families have the unusual opportunity to invest in tandem with his institutional investors along with and on the same favorable terms as the Drever Family in Parallel Fund II.

His former company, Drever Partners, with 18,000 units, was one of the earliest and largest buyers of multifamily housing during the RTC cycle. In October 1997, those assets were merged into Walden Residential Properties, a Dallas-based public REIT (NYSE), to create a $1.4 billion REIT. Following a non-compete period, Mr. Drever formed Concierge Asset Management.

Concierge merged with Crossbeam Capital to form Crossbeam Holdings, which focuses on acquiring and redeveloping challenged multifamily assets and/or their NPLs. It has +10,000 units and Mr. Drever is the largest owner.

He serves as Managing Partner and Chief Acquisition Strategist for Crossbeam Holdings, and its in-process $500 million institutional fund (AA+ credit) as well as for the related Parallel Fund II. The significant buying power of these institutions has been one of the catalysts for generating uncommonly strong cash distributions for the legacy family investors in the first Parallel Fund.

Mr. Drever operates out of a century-old boathouse in Tiburon, CA. He is a University of Illinois finance graduate and has semi-retired three times. He is involved in programs around the world for disadvantaged children, is a keen horticulturist and sportsman, and enjoys biking and year-round, sans wetsuit swimming in the San Francisco Bay.
